The Colts traveled to Seattle hoping to upend the playoff bound Seahawks. Seattle was ready and turned back the Colts by a score of 28-21. Seattle scored first on a Peyton Manning to Vernon Davis pass. The Colts responded with a Mason Crosby field goal but the ensuing kickoff was returned 100 yards by Brad Smith and Baltimore was down 14-3. The Colts came back with another drive but a Mason Crosby missed field goal attempt gave Seattle a short field. The Seahawks took advantage with a Manning to Hakeem Nicks pass and the game started to look like a rout with Seattle up 21-3 early in the second quarter. The Colts fought back and trimmed the halftime deficit to 21-13. The second half was more of a defensive showcase with each team managing one touchdown drive. Down by seven late, Seattle's Charlie Peprah picked off a Joe Flacco toss to lock down the win for the Seahawks.
