With the playoffs still a possibility the Colts begin the final four games with a home loss to St. Louis 22-13. The game was a tight struggle throughout. The Rams held a 9-7 lead at the half on the strength of three Dave Rayner field goals including a 54 yarder. For Baltimore, Mason Crosby entered the field goal contest in the third quarter with two of his own three pointers and as the teams entered the final 15 minutes St. Louis still held a two point edge 15-13. Rams quarterback engineered a nice fourth quarter drive and put the finishing touches on it with a 1 yard run to up the lead to 22-13. Baltimore was marching when a sack by Kroy Bierman caused a fumble which was recovered by Jamal Williams sealing the victory for St. Louis.
